Applying for a NEW & RENEWAL ASIC

Download and print (double sided is preferred) the HIAPL ASIC Application and AusCheck Privacy Notice -

  • Read and understand the AusCheck Privacy Notice and complete ASIC Application with employer.
  • Once the application is complete, it must be submitted in person to Hobart Airport Administration.  Two forms of ID are required when submitting the ASIC application.  Acceptable forms of ID are listed on page 2 of the ASIC application.

Applying for NEW ASIC with Category 2 Drivers Classification

Download and print (double sided is preferred) the HIAPL ASIC Application and AusCheck Privacy Notice -

  • Read and understand the AusCheck Privacy Notice and complete ASIC application with employer.
  • Download and print Airside Drivers Manual & Category 2 Drivers Test
  • Complete the Category 2 Airside Drivers Test after studying the Airside Drivers Manual.  THIS IS AN OPEN BOOK TEST
  • Once the ASIC Application and Category 2 Airside Drivers Test are complete, both must be submitted in person to Hobart Airport Administration.  Two forms of ID are required when submitting the ASIC application and Test.  Acceptable forms of ID are listed on page 2 of the ASIC application.

Applying for NEW ASIC with Category 4 Drivers Classification

You will need to complete your Two-Way Radio Licence before applying for an ASIC with Category 4 Drivers.  You can complete your Two-Way Radio Licence at Tasair, located at Hobart Airport.

  • Read and understand the AusCheck Privacy Notice and complete ASIC application with employer.
  • Download and print Airside Drivers Manual & Category 4 Drivers Test
  • Complete the Category 4 Airside Drivers Test after studying the Airside Drivers Manual.  THIS IS AN OPEN BOOK TEST
  • Once the ASIC Application and Category 4 Airside Drivers Test are complete, both must be submitted in person to Hobart Airport Administration. A copy of your successfully completed Two-Way Radio Licence will also need to be submitted at this point. Two forms of ID are required when submitting the ASIC application and Test.  Acceptable forms of ID are listed on page 2 of the ASIC application.
