Wheelchairs on Airlines

For those passengers requiring wheelchair assistance at the Hobart Airport, airlines may be able to provide wheelchairs upon request. Passengers must contact the airline they are travelling with prior to arriving at the airport to make suitable arrangements.

Disabled Parking at Hobart Airport

Designated disabled car parking spaces are conveniently located in the drop off and airport pick up lane at the Hobart Airport. Vehicles with a disabled permit are able to occupy these spaces for thirty minutes, however the car must remain attended at all times.

Further disabled car spaces are available in the car park. To access these, enter the Hobart Airport car park as normal and proceed to the disabled car spaces.

Toilet Facilities at Hobart Airport

Wheelchair accessible toilets are located inside the Hobart Airport terminal, both in the departure lounge and outside of the security clearance area.

Audio Loop for Hearing Devices

Hobart Airport also provides hearing augmentation with an audio-frequency induction loop system for people with hearing devices.
